Experience heart-pounding albacore tuna fishing out of Winchester Bay, Oregon. Our guided tuna charters run July through September and follow the warm offshore currents that bring in schools of albacore. These powerful fish average 15–30 lbs and deliver some of the toughest fights on the coast.

What to expect

  • Season: July–September (seasonal, depends on warm water currents)

  • Vessel: 28' Hewes Alaskan offshore boat, fully rigged for trolling with multiple lines

  • Fishing grounds: 20–60 miles offshore, based on where the fish are

  • Typical catch: Albacore averaging 15–30 lbs

  • Limits: Generous limit — up to 25 fish per person (check current regulations)
